Monday, April 22, 2013. Salt Lake City Half Marathon. Friday my sister and I rode the train up to SL Nick met us up there after work. We carb-ed it up at the Cheesecake Factory. We signed the banner at the race expo. There was more than usual police officers along the race course and there was a police helicopter following us the entire route. About half a mile into the race it started to rain, and it rained the ENTIRE 13 miles. It was cold, it was freezing, it was pouring rain, it was miserable.

Friday, September 20, 2013. HAPPY 1ST BIRTHDAY OLIVIA KATE! Today you are one year old. It is so hard to believe that it has been a year since you entered this world. Where has this year gone? When we brought you home from the hospital your daddy and I would fight over who got to hold you. We both wanted you all the time but mommy won most of the battles. I love the feeling of your soft little cheeks next to mine. I loved to watch you sleeping peacefully on my chest or in my arms.

Sunday, January 14, 2018. New Years Eve and a little winter fun. It was around 0 everyday and many days the wind chill was below 0, so we had a lot of inside time. Vince got me an instapot for Christmas and it really is fast and the food has all turned out good so far.
