We finally joined in the fun and created our very first family blog. We hope all enjoy to look at it and to see our family grow. Wednesday, March 4, 2015. A change in the routine. We went up Friday after school and came home on Valentines day after an exciting day exploring Salt Lake, riding trax, going up and down escalators at the mall and touring Temple Square. Saturday, September 12, 2015. Please help us with an Adoption. Dear Friends and Family,. If you would have asked us even just 2 months ago that we would be adopting. We would have said no. We have honestly never been opposed to adoption. But never imagined it would be the right thing for us. Just 1 month ago after a visit to the temple, we felt very strongly that we should stop our plans for IVF and pursue adoption. Those strong feelings have never left and have only been added upon.

Tuesday, November 12, 2013. This post is long overdue, but life has been a little crazy lately. We moved in June to a 3 bedroom apartment. We are still in orem, not too far from our old ward and friends, but far enough to start over. Our new ward is good, really small and very different.

Monday, April 22, 2013. Salt Lake City Half Marathon. Friday my sister and I rode the train up to SL Nick met us up there after work. We carb-ed it up at the Cheesecake Factory. We signed the banner at the race expo. There was more than usual police officers along the race course and there was a police helicopter following us the entire route. Friday, September 20, 2013. HAPPY 1ST BIRTHDAY OLIVIA KATE! Today you are one year old. It is so hard to believe that it has been a year since you entered this world. Where has this year gone? When we brought you home from the hospital your daddy and I would fight over who got to hold you. We both wanted you all the time but mommy won most of the battles. I love the feeling of your soft little cheeks next to mine. I loved to watch you sleeping peacefully on my chest or in my arms.

Sunday, January 14, 2018. New Years Eve and a little winter fun. It was around 0 everyday and many days the wind chill was below 0, so we had a lot of inside time. Vince got me an instapot for Christmas and it really is fast and the food has all turned out good so far.
