Thursday, January 17, 2008. Our Educational Heritage- Our School. The original building was made of wood and nothing of its structure remains today.
Well done to both the Under 11 and Under 13 quiz teams who did a fantastic job. Wednesday, 15 January 2014. On Tuesday the 14th of January, we planted 100 fruit trees in the garden. Thank you to all the children, parents and teachers for braving the elements to plant the trees. Ms Murphy is well kitted out for the tree planting.
I did the first reading. We spoke about our memories of our time spent in Newcastle school;. We did the prayers of the faithful. We are very creative and artistic so we brought up our portfolios as part of the offertory procession. We brought up a copy, tin whistle, yearbooks, football, hurley and sliotar,portfolios and memory boxes to remember our time in Newcastle school. Our last day in Junior Infants. What a fantastic year we have had! Saturday, 29 November 2014. Fun With Senior Infants - 28th-11th-2014. After lunch 6th class played magnet games with our friends in Senior Infants. Thank you to Mrs Thornton for letting us play the games with Senior Infants. My big brother is the best! I love fishing with 6th class. We raced the Christmas elves and had great fun.
