Module 5 chapter 8 continued. This chapter involved the translation of paper relief surfaces which recorded our interpretations of landscape features in chapter 3. Cotton calico layer over wool fabric.
This is a record of my work on the Distant Stitch Level 3 Certificate. Friday, 14 June 2013. Wow - at last! Here is a photo of my finished wallhanging. The theme I chose was conservation of water.
Paper coloured with water paint some covered with plastic than let to dry. A little stamp made ,the shape is from a part of a cross. Cross shapes from coloured papers. Printing with the stamp on papers side by side and turning the stamp to make variations. Leaving whole block shapes between each shape. Colour circle and mind map. The colour circle learned a great deal from this.
