Friday, 8 May 2009. As part of my media coursework I had to create a music magazine for my own choice of genre and have a target audience as well. The genre of my music magazine was pop I chose this after doing my research and collecting the results of my questionnaire after distributing it to people. The target audience for my magazine would be young teenage girls because it would appeal to them the most. I think I could distributepromote my product by advertising it on channels that my target audience.CONTENT

Wednesday, 11 February 2009. Everything has been completed and has been handed in! Soon i will be uploading all of my work during lesson time. Thursday, 5 February 2009. Today i have completed my improvment of analysis and am now noving on to improve my actual magazine. I have also started to evaluate some parts of my portfolio so far. Next week plan to be finished with my protfolio. This means doing manipulation of images and apendix for my final portfolio.
Once I was given my instructions to make a music magazine I realised i had to do some research. I had to look at magazine front covers, contents pages and magazine articles. When looking at front covers i had to look at what was most popular, what the reader wants to see and what would make my magazine stand out more compared to the others. For example i looked at where the titles are placed, what type of images are used, colour schemes, and more.
Tuesday, 31 March 2009. Now I have completed the magazine, I have moved on to the evaluation element of the project. I have completed the evaluation, justifying my decisions whilst assessing their affectiveness simultaneously. 1 - 3 But how did I appeal to this, admittedly, rather broad, target audience? I subverted several conventions of music magazines whilst also conforming to elements of magazines that would appeal to my target audience.
