Lately, I have dabbled in writing Orff arrangements for my classroom. I must admit the poem is not mine. I found it in a book called. Fun with ABC and 123. By Hal Dareff, written in 1965. I found this little gem of a poetry book at an antique store in Boone, NC.

Friday, July 31, 2015. Last summer, I read a great blog post about why you should NOT use a clip chart in your classroom. You can find this blog post HERE. Now, being a music teacher that DOES. First, each class has a clip at the bottom of the chart. Each one of these clips is actually a little magnet for a refrigerator, but they were so bright and colorful I just had to use them for this.

I have found that having a set of specific rules and expectations for the iPads have been extremely helpful when it comes to classroom management. I see students twice a week for 30 minutes and I set aside one class to go over rules and expectations for when we use the iPads. 1 Always carry your iPad with 2 hands.
