Wednesday, June 15, 2011. On Sunday Brandon and I rented jet skis and headed out in the Pacific along the CR coast. We were on a guided tour but it was a great time. Definately want to do this again back home. On Tuesday most of the group took a tour of Manuel Antonio National Park and saw a lot of wildlife. We had a great guide, Johann, who took a lot of time to point things out. Most things were tiny or at a good distance, so we used his scope to get better pictures. A close up of a two toed sloth.
Tuesday, May 17, 2016. My initial flight on the afternoon of May 17 was from San Francisco to Seattle. Here at Sea-Tac, I waited to board my flight for Amsterdam. Mount Rainier looms in the background. 5 hour flight from Seattle to Amsterdam was made more tolerable by the fact the plane was only half full. A couple more photos in the Red Light District . Monday, April 8, 2013. I was at the very end of my last brew day and cleaning up all of my equipment when I shattered my floating glass thermometer. This is the second one I have shattered in 3 years and I always worry about breaking it off in a mash or in a kettle. I was also a little suspect of the accuracy.
