Friday, May 15, 2009. In science we had an experiment called terrarium environments my partner was Chloe. Me and Chloe made our terrarium environments by putting soil into a plastic container and planted our seeds. We had 5 different types of seeds they were Clover,Barley, Pea,Radish, and corn. We tested what kind of food the beetles liked better apples or carrots,they seemed to like carrots better. Factors in our terrariums some are soil,water,and plants.
Monday, May 18, 2009. We also tested environmental factors. An environmental factor is something in the environment that affects something like animals or plants. We had tested water tolerance or how much water the plants need. We found that if you keep the environment dry, the plants will not grow, but if you put in 40-80 mL. Of water in it will grow really well. We had also put animals in our terrarium. Like to have wet soil and be in the dark.

You make a terrarium by get a big container the you get soil in a cup and pour it into the container and then you get some seeds and plant them then we watered the plants! The plant that grew the worst was the barley! It barley even grew. Some enviormental factors that were in our terrarium were grass, soil, water, and animals! The terrarium was very moist and dirty!
