Tuesday, June 2, 2009. Friday, May 15, 2009. If you want to know what this is, this is a picture of me and my partners terrarium! In our terrarium we got to put insects inside them and we got to do a lot of creative things with our terrariums. The way we made our terrariums is that we got a bucket, soil, seeds, insects, and water to plant them. So, I just explained what we really did with our Terrariums and I thought it was really fun looking at all the cool Terrariums. Tuesday, April 28, 2009.
Monday, May 18, 2009. We also tested environmental factors. An environmental factor is something in the environment that affects something like animals or plants. We had tested water tolerance or how much water the plants need. We found that if you keep the environment dry, the plants will not grow, but if you put in 40-80 mL. Of water in it will grow really well. We had also put animals in our terrarium. Like to have wet soil and be in the dark.
Tuesday, June 2, 2009. Friday, May 15, 2009. Our Progress on the terrariums. We made our terrariums by getting a container, soil, and some seeds. We put the soil in the container and the the seeds. We watered them and then put plastic wrap to keep the moisture inside. Factor that effected out terrariums were grass, air, water, seeds, sunlight, the soil, the isopods. The dark ling beetles and the plants. The insects that were inside of are terrariums were the dark ling beetles and the isopods.

You make a terrarium by get a big container the you get soil in a cup and pour it into the container and then you get some seeds and plant them then we watered the plants! The plant that grew the worst was the barley! It barley even grew. Some enviormental factors that were in our terrarium were grass, soil, water, and animals! The terrarium was very moist and dirty! Me and Chloe made our terrarium environments by putting soil into a plastic container and planted our seeds.We had 5 different types of seeds they were Clover,Barley, Pea,Radish, and corn. We put in isopods. And beetles four animals.We tested what kind of food the beetles liked better apples or carrots,they seemed to like carrots better.
