Curating Transition exhibition

Was a platform for MA Visual Art students to show their practice outside of the university and in a gallery environment. The exhibition was displayed at the Surface Gallery between 1-5 May 2007 and was curated by Lucy Stevens and Cat Preston. Watching You Watching Me

Was created using four CCTV cameras positioned in 4 different rooms of my house. I purchased a four way USB adaptor that could connect to 4 CCTV cameras and record simultaneously. The short video shows an ambigious narrative that plays on the issues of intrusive voyeurism via a CCTV camera and paranoia through being watched.

The Language of Fear in film. Examining spectator reaction to film. These particular film genres are remarkable at communicating psychological suspense creating anxiety amongst the audience. By looking at these vital moments in horror movies I hope to be able to investigate how fear can be induced and convert these ideas to my practice. The language of Fear in horror movies.

Artwork produced using binaural audio technology. My practice has become site specific due to the technique of recording binaural audio. It is important that the sound is gathered on site and reflects the environment and the events that take place.
