Friday, March 5, 2010. Brahma is one of the three major gods in Hinduism. In Thailand, Brahma is known as Phra Phrom a creator of the universe. It has four face and eight hands, a feature that was given the name Four Face Buddha. The four faces symbolize the four book of the Vedas, the Hindu scriptures and the source of all the knowledge in the creation of the universe. The eight hands, symbolize the omnipresense and power of the Lord Brahma.

Phra Chinarat Indo-China was created by The Buddhist Society of Thailand under the Royal Patronage. Wat Suthat hosted the consecration ceremony where His Holiness Somdej Phra Sangharaja Pae presided as the Chairman. There were over a hundred buddhist monks that attended the ceremony and it was rated as the most auspicious and sacred ceremony ever held. There was an error in this gadget.

Wat Bovornmongkol went thru a major renovation in 1966, and during that time the temple excavated a few big jars filled with lotus shape amulets.
