Thursday, September 6, 2012. Josh recently bought a couple of large hams from a customer. Since Josh has a few weeks off, we finally thawed out a ham! They are our favorite cooking partners! Michelle put together some delicious apple and pear crisp for dessert! Every part was wonderful! Big surpri.
Tuesday, February 03, 2015. All I want for Christmas is two 4-wheelers. And the kids were bored with it by the end of the hour! Those poor kids, forced to do fun things. Nate decided to join me as a Sunday School teacher. One of our first lessons together involved building our tent in the tiny Sunday school room. The kids loved it! My girlies love playing Zingo.

Today I weighed in at 197. I had cabbage with cheese. Cheddar cheese which I grated on top of the blanched cabbage. I had a few problems with this but it did taste good. We went to the mall but I restricted myself to roasted chicken which was good.

It seemed like a lot of background to cover but I thought I would try some Distress Oxide inks to do it. I chose 2 colours - Peeled Paint and Salty Ocean and went ahead with a blending tool. This is the first time I had used these inks and a spritz of water creates a lovely painterly effect on it.
