The World Is My Cloister

A praying, thinking blog with a passion for food, good books and God talk. The World Is My Cloister Tumblr. Wednesday, 22 July 2015. I stopped, the world carried on. Bob Hutton, died on 22nd April. It came as the most terrible shock I have ever experienced. I still cannot think or talk about it without crying. I think about it as the day I stopped and the world kept moving. Both apple trees are in bloom this year, normally they alternate. Follow my blog with Bloglovin.

Ration The Future

I have been out doing energy surveys every day, and despite sweltering and having aching feet from all the walking, I love to see how buildings perform under peak conditions. Traditionally English townhouses were close together, providing a shady walkway.

Life on Planet Barton

Still trying to discover how to time travel. Monday, 3 October 2016. Over the last month I have visited our local Unitarian Church each Sunday, I have felt welcomed by all and comforted by my time spent there. This may not seem so strange, but I am in fact an Atheist. The Unitarian Church has offered a place for both Sophie and I to spend a contemplative Sunday morning together, no questions asked, no presumptions made, no judgements cast. It is a wet afterno.
