Friday, 11 December 2009. In this module I have found one of my most valued strengths to be creativity and patience. This work is very time consuming and requires a great deal of effort to get the desired results. I also like to credit my ability to pick up and learn new skills which have helped me tremendously in terms of Modelling, Texturing and Lighting effects. I fell my biggest threat this is area of work has to be time management. I will in future be planning work with a sche.
Friday, 11 December 2009. Here are my final 3 Stamp Designs. Im extremely proud of them and very happy with how they have come out. I believe that they all have good bits and I feel that with a lot more time and experiance using 3DS Max they could be improved. Thanks for reading my blog of my first semester using 3DS Max. Stamp Model 3 - Stingray. I then added a turbosmooth modifier. I extruded the top layer of polygons in the centre upwards. I kept doing this until it was of suff.
Saturday, 5 December 2009. Here are the final designs for the stamps. They have all turned out so much better than i was expecting them to and I am extremely pleased with them all. I have really enjoyed using 3D Studio Max. I found it quite difficult to use at first but now i feel so much more confident with it. I will definately be continuing to use this program in the hope that someday i may be able to use these skills for some kind of ideal job for me.

Thursday, 10 December 2009. Here are my final stamps which now have templates included around the outside. I have altered the effects on some of them to fit in with the models I have created. For the rainforest I have chosen a green background, for the space stamp I have chosen a blue background and for the safari effect I have selected a desert background. Wednesday, 9 December 2009.

In 3dsmax i like to tinker with setting to see what they do and get different outcome from this. i also think i am able to create objects with just reference images very well. and my lack of drawing skills may stop me creating the standard required to skin my model effectively.
