Running Adventures with TNT. Thursday, May 21, 2009. A Month Post Surgery. The most exciting thing is that I dont have to be wheeled around in a chair. It comes and goes; but overall good. Dave and I are walking everyday a little - not huge mileage, but still better than nothing. Neurosurgeon seems to think that swimming may help, and send me to a physical medicine guy. Oh yeah. i am back at work! He prescribed 4 weeks of PT. With luck, I will be able to get the therapist who runs, or the manager. PUBLI.CONTENT

Martes, 12 de noviembre de 2013. Voy a tardar en desdecirme? Pues voy en camino. Como siempre, al acabar el maratón juramos no volver a correr. Lo malo se olvida y queda la droga de este deporte. Al cabo de un par de días escuché a Chema Martínez. El domingo corrimos la fantástica Behobia. Me encontré mejor de lo que pensaba. Y ya tenemos el lío.

Het deed zeer en het ging moeizaam. En dan staat er na 3 emotioneel loodzware maanden weer eens een wedstrijd op het programma. Dit jaar in verband met het 25-jarig jubileum eenmalig omgedoopt tot de 20 van Goud, om precies te zijn. Deze wedstrijd was bedoeld om te zien hoe ik er voor sta in de voorbereiding op de marathon van Leiden. Heel langzaam begon ik plannen te maken om tegen het eind zelfs iets te versnellen. Het moet niet gekker worden.
