Monday, December 28, 2015. Honolulu Marathon 2015 Race Report. The first two days were spent wandering the island and catching up with friends. When we landed, Shiho picked us up from the airport, and we were welcomed with fresh leis. We were ushered to her apartment where she and Ronnie had set up a delicious backyard BBQ.

I have just come back from three weeks in Australia where I started my marathon training with a vengeance. And where I stayed with my parents it was hilly. So I am feeling quite good about my fitness because of those two factors.

Mom and Daughter started this journey in 2007 to run a marathon the same day but 7,440 miles apart. The events came and went. Seattle was done but Bangkok, due to Force Majeure, was a no go.
