Another picture showing the distinctive markings. I believe this is a young osprey. It sat on this branch above our road and cried for a long time, then finally flew away. Tuesday, January 10, 2012. In the spring of 2009 two beautiful Swans landed on Pattison Lake. We watched in amazement as they glided gracefully onto the water. They were too far from the shore to get a good picture of their coloring. It was raining otherwise I might have taken the canoe out for a closer look.
