Thursday, February 7, 2013. The allegory of a physical mountain for the spiritual one that stands between each soul and its goal is an easy and natural one to make. Like those in the valley behind us,most people stand in sight of the spiritual mountains all their lives and never enter them,being content to listen to others who have been there and thus avoid the hardships.

Friday, February 8, 2013. Monday, December 19, 2011. I am interested in exploring environments and how I and other people perceive the world. I am constantly questioning our cultures and environments, and how people interact in them.

I have mapped out my entire experience in Slovenia over the past couple years, every city or area that I have been to was cut out, drawn and installed onto the gallery walls in a panorama type of map. 2013, cardboard, pins, wire.

My work is influenced by exploring new environments, culture and identity. Each gesture performed by the viewer creates an expectation or illusion as to what is being created. The porcelain slip will create a constantly changing environment, one that dries and cracks, only to be covered over again and again.
