Friday, January 25, 2013. I am a terrible blogger. I have the best of intentions to keep my blog updated for our friends and family who are far away. Life is just so crazy and so busy, and I am neglectful to my little blog. I can not handle single digit temperatures.
Thursday, December 8, 2016. We thoroughly enjoyed every moment. It had been five years since we had been to the beach! We stayed through Tuesday and then headed north on Wednesday to be with my side of the family for Thanksgiving. That evening we got to see a lot of my family.
Thursday, March 6, 2014. My life has been consumed with ear infections and throw up. My poor little Maci has been very very sick since December. Vomit is a part of our daily lives now. Neal, Michelle, Madison, and Wilson. Friday, September 27, 2013. We welcomed our sweet Anna this summer, and she is a DREAM. Honestly, I have to pinch myself, I have never had a baby so easy! We have hardly seen her little eyes since she was born! Whether I want or need the help! The love her so much, and we can already tell what a little sweetheart she will be. She must have known we would have a busy summer, and that her momma needed an easy baby this time around.
We are a family that came together because we choose to be together. My first 5 children come from my first husband who was suddenly killed in a tragic car accident leaving me with 5 small children to raise. I met Verne a divorced man a little older, but so much wiser. I knew a good thing when I saw it! And a love-story began and only gets better. Sunday, 9 August 2015. Last summer, we discovered the joys of berry picking. Everyone here does it. I dont know if this is a thing in most states and were just new to the party, or if its unique to the PNW. But either way, my girls have become BIG fans. After picking raspberries with their cousins in July, they immediately started asking when we were going to pick blueberries with our neighbors. Its become our annual tradition.
