In week 6 term 1 our school, Kaitao. Went to the Aquatic Centre for a fun swimming activities day. We did all sorts of stuff like doggy paddle, breaststroke, backstroke and much much more. This term Accelerate Academy went on a trip to the Rotorua. Trying to gather lots of information about our ancestors and the history of Rotorua. All the tourist attractions that that had been in Rotorua.
There was an old lady who once was mum. Who had a son that left to hold a gun. Bombs and shrapnel all around. The soldiers dropped dead to the ground. A man came and knocked at the door. Miss your son died at war.
This year the Accelerate Academy are staying in New Caledonia for 8 days. We are going to New Caledonia in Term4 at the end of the year. It is going to be so much fun. We are all fundraiser at the moment like. Car wash, sausage sizzle and also car washes. We raised so much money at the sausage sizzle. We have been also selling tickets for people to win a truck load of fire wood. We have been going to meetings and talking about who is setting up the events planed. We are all excited about going on this trip.

But for Netball I keep missing heaps of practices because I was really sick and my dad said I wasnt allowed to go just in case I might spew up. Wana make a huge shout out to MORRISON. The theme of our stage challenge act was school the values and kaitao danced to show it. This term did speeches my one was on Time. For the year sevens accelerate came first second and third and for the year eights accelerate came first second and third.
