Saturday, January 2, 2010. We headed to Pigeon Forge, TN after Christmas for a week vacation. A section of Hwy 40, one of the main roads to get there, was closed due to a rock slide. We took a nice scenic detour through Cherokee and Maggie Valley. That was a blast! No baking pa.

I learned, much to the annoyance of those in the group behind me, that I had several squirreled away in my backpack that I had forgotten about. Good thing they just put them in a bin and gave me a check number to retrieve them after we finished.
