Jinna Takes On Childhood Obesity. Getting Serious about Alcohol . Policies that Save Kids Lives. Our Neighborhoods need to hear the message that alcohol consumption - especially binge and underage drinking- is harmful.
This after school program was conducted at two elementary schools located in Northwest St. Louis City schools and within the 57th District The goal was to encourage and promote lifestyle modifications as it relates to nutrition, fitness and health. The 2-hour weekly sessions held at respective schools within the district provided health related alternatives and physical education resources to area students and families.
JCORP was formed in 2000 as a response to the escalating gang problem in St. Help us to make a difference.
Today more than ever, teens need help resisting drugs. Project ALERT successfully addresses tobacco, alcohol, marijuana and inhalants, the substances teens are most likely to use.
In partnership with Weed and Seed, St. 2 Improve community perceptions of safety. 3 Motivate, educate, and employ gang affiliates. Currently JCORP is addressing the needs of youth, males and females, ages 13-18 with hope of expanding its outreach.
