Sunday, January 3, 2010. On our last full day in Florida we stopped by Siesta key just south of Sarasota. The sand was white and had the finest particles I have ever seen. It was a little too cool for swimming but nice to walk on. Mode Aquarium is a rescue hospital for turtles, manatee, dolphins, and sea birds. It was fun to see the animals close up.

Thursday, July 31, 2008. We can not believe it has been over two years since we began our adventure in Japan. We have made many friendships that we hope will last for years. If we visit back to Japan, or find any old pictures we will be sure to post them here. Check out the aggressive turtles. One last lesson in origami. We miss you Ami! Wendita and I will take my dream vacation to Alaska from September 9 - September 27, 2006. I have always wanted to go to Alaska and now we are! Friday, February 22, 2008. 2006 Girdwood, Alaska may have been one of our favorite towns in Alaska. Maybe because it was close enough to things, had an industry we could get jobs in, and was just plain old down to earth. We loved the food, the scenery, and the people.
