I am really happy with the outcome of both of my projects. I also love the way it looks against a black background. I also feel very content with my scans final. Although looking at it now, i wish i would have lassoed the scans and put them all on black without the white squares, i still really like how the final product looks.
Sunday, December 6, 2009. I went to the Philly Art Museum earlier today, and was checking out some of the current exhibits. One that really caught my attention was an abstract artist Arshile Gorky. Sunday, November 22, 2009. Today I went to National Portfolio Day because my boyfriend is trying to transfer out from the local community college to an art school, preferably Tyler. The first and only time I had ever gone to Portfolio Day was last year when I was doing the whole getting-in-to-college thing. Going again definitely brought back some memories. Mostly the memories of the waiting, the long, long, longggg,. Painful waiting, and the anxiety and excitement of getting your work reviewed.
