I am really happy with the outcome of both of my projects. I also love the way it looks against a black background. I also feel very content with my scans final. Although looking at it now, i wish i would have lassoed the scans and put them all on black without the white squares, i still really like how the final product looks.
Sunday, November 22, 2009. Today I went to National Portfolio Day because my boyfriend is trying to transfer out from the local community college to an art school, preferably Tyler. The first and only time I had ever gone to Portfolio Day was last year when I was doing the whole getting-in-to-college thing. Going again definitely brought back some memories. Mostly the memories of the waiting, the long, long, longggg,. Painful waiting, and the anxiety and excitement of getting your work reviewed.

Friday, May 27, 2011. 18 years ago, after 24 hours of labor you came, 3 weeks early and yet weighing in at 8. By your first birthday you weighed over 32 pounds. You were so fat, you did not walk, crawl or roll over until you were almost 18 months old. You made the decision not to wear diapers anymore and that was that.
