A record of my journey through surgical palate expansion; braces; and almost definitely double jaw surgery. Monday, 29 September 2014. Life goes on after jaw surgery. We had many family birthdays, lots of sporting events to attend with and for the kids, and well - I got married too. and I just kinda forgot to finish my journey on my blog. So, for anyone who might be interested still, here it is.
My Awful Open Bite - The Road to Jaw Surgery. Friday, May 17, 2013. So last week as I was flossing my teeth I took a closer look and saw that one of my bottom teeth had shifted forward. Back to the ortho I went where they confirmed the tooth had moved and cut some holes in my bottom retainer to force the tooth back the other way. In two weeks I go back to get another retainer. I will post some pics of my teeth soon. I hope all of you are well.

Tuesday, August 27, 2013. This was definitely the best decision I have ever made and if I had to do it all again I would do it in a heartbeat. The surgeries are all in the past now and Im happy for that. Though Ill admit I thought this day would never come and it happened so fast. Now life needs to slow down so I can enjoy it to the fullest. . Saturday, July 20, 2013. 4 months post op. Oh and for all of you to see.
