My Awful Open Bite - The Road to Jaw Surgery. Friday, May 17, 2013. So last week as I was flossing my teeth I took a closer look and saw that one of my bottom teeth had shifted forward. Back to the ortho I went where they confirmed the tooth had moved and cut some holes in my bottom retainer to force the tooth back the other way. In two weeks I go back to get another retainer. I will post some pics of my teeth soon. I hope all of you are well.

It has been a good whole two months since my last update and I am nearly 4 months post-op! 3 months and 20 days to be exact, and I only know this because I used a day counting widget. Yes, I have come to the stage where I have stopped marking dates by how many days post-op I am.

Tuesday, September 10, 2013. Sorry for not posting in quite awhile. I just bought my first home and have been very busy with everything that goes along with that. I just moved in this past Saturday and lucky for me I got my braces off the very next Tuesday! Thursday, July 11, 2013.
