Tuesday, 8 March 2011. This is my Model for my poster for task 2. Its very similar to my model for task 1. Ive added paper numbers to the model to symbolise the 100 years of G. These are different views of the model and ive zoomed in on a few. Thursday, 3 March 2011. These are some more pictures of my final model. Two of the pictures are dark so i wont be using them in my poster. Tuesday, 1 March 2011.
Task 1 developed for task 2. I wanted to look at puting a background in behind the flowers, to really bring it all together and make the flowers stand out, these paper folds create a similar effect as a wave and i have developed they paper to see if twisting and Turing the paper would create a stronger visual link to the water which will work against the flowers. My attempts at making typography. Folding the paper and trying to create a type into the fold proved very difficult howe.
Monday, 14 March 2011. Rather than being and isolated object on my poster the form I produced was designed to be used as an element of the type for my poster. Task 1, Take 2! Once again I formed the individual circles.

Looking back over my self-directed project, even though I am very pleased with the out come of my flip books, there are few things I would do differently after what I have learnt from it. The only reason it took so long was the amount of learning curve that came with using programs and methods that I was al.
Just realised my animation is 33 seconds long, According to some course mates they have been told it is compulsory to be between 20-30 seconds and theres a risk of failing if it is not within the brief requirements. Below are a few screen shots from imovie where i created.
Thursday, 5 May 2011. In this project I have learnt many new skills as I have never done any sort of animation work before. I learn how mamny frames it takes to make an image seem like its moving with out seeing individual images, I also learnt how to animate the film in after effects to make the images play as continuous footage. I also learnt hot to cut and make audio tracks. 19 - 30 seconds final animation. To create the final animation I used after effect to do this.
