Thursday, January 12, 2012. I tend to have a lot of middle values in my paintings. Something that I have been trying to work on is adding more contrast in values at my center of interest. After stripping the old screens of ink and emulsion, they are dehazed, degreased, recoated with emusion, allowed to dry, burned with new images and blasted with water until they finally come to rest in the Adirondack Drying Rack.
