Original paintings of the beautiful Northwest Montana landscape. The numerous trails of Glacier National Park will take a lifetime to explore. The paintings from this series are inspired photographs taken during hikes on these trails. Subtle colors found in the reflections on the pristine white bark inspired these bold paintings. Minimalist acrylic paintings on canvas inspired by daily observations.

Blood, Bones and Artifice. My current work deals with the recalled memory and emotion that is felt after a dream, capturing the narrative aspect that is both vividly remembered and at once lost upon awakening. The real and the surreal are bound together in a liquid transient form and used to build a story that plays on the concepts of apparent, perceived and absent information.
