Room 6 students will be celebrating the end of the year with a pool party on Tuesday 13. They will need to bring a plate of food along with their swimming gear. Parents are welcome to join us. Monday, December 5, 2016. Last week our class studied Optimist yachts and we built our own mini yachts out of plastic bottles and milk cartons as well as plastic bags, skewers, corks, ice cream containers, Popsicle sticks, straws and a hot glue gun. In the end we were quite happy with our finished result and we had a good time making it, I suppose it turned out well and it sailed reasonably well on the water we definitely recommend it for other schools.
Friday, December 25, 2015. Merry Christmas to those who celebrate, and I hope it was a wonderful day surrounded by people you love! Of course I had to do a little something for the holidays on my nails, but was very limited by the supplies I brought with me to my parents house. Friday, December 9, 2016. Monday, December 5, 2016. On friday 2nd December Room 6 made yachts out of bottles and recycled things it was so much fun and our yacht worked really well. Wednesday, November 30, 2016. Keep head out of the way of the boom. Work as a team to get the boat in one direction.
Friday, December 9, 2016. On Thursday we went surfing it was a blast. Well I for for one thing had a ball. I learnt how to surf and I just love it. We also payed some beach games, for instants beach flags and who can dig the deepest hole. I dug a deep hole I even got to water. Monday, December 5, 2016. Last week we made yahcts out of recicling. These are the bad things and good things about our yahct.
End of year - higlights. Last week we made yachts out of recycled items. Our yacht was called LA 33. Our yacht had 2 plastic bottles for the base ,skewers in the middle to stick the bottles together, plastic spoons as rudders, Popsicle sticks as center boards and a plastic bag as the sail. The class had to draw.
