Friday, October 25, 2013. Our 1st picture of Baby Stites. This is our 1st picture of Weston! Hopefully many more to come! Well, as many of you know, Weston Andrew Stites will be here in a few short months! We are excited beyond words, but are trying to stay a little guarded. we will be able to breath easier once our sweet mama has signed on that dotted line and we are Tennessee bound. I kind of hesitated and thought.

This is an acrylic on canvas painting that I did over the summer. I hated it at first because I like dark colors but it grew on me the more I looked at it. The texture is from gesso applied with a pallet knife. After gesso is dry I paint a color over it and wipe with a paper towel. I came upon this technique when I was in college and accidentally put to much paint on my canvas. I did this charcoal drawing for a charity auction. Made it into the UVU Frankentien Exhibit.
