I went out a few times this weekend to try different things and experiment with the new toy. These are some of the results. Monday, January 16, 2006. We spent a couple of days in Revelstoke checking out some the main attractions. Namely, the Revelsoke Dam, the CPR Museum, and Mt. We hit the park at peak flower season and it was amazing. Mt Robson, being the highest peak of the rockies at almost 13,000ft, is a reason itself to see this amazing area. Once here we discovered that a long but relatively easy hike takes you on a trek that gives you views like none you could imagine. Sunday, August 28, 2005. A very swift and cold Robson River. Sandon is an abandoned silver mining town that has a very rich history. Once a city of around 10,000 people with a famous bordwalk that spanned the creek, Sandon now only has a few inhabitants and only a handful of buildings. Sunday, August 28, 2005. That little grey spot on the hill was a house.
A park where you really get a glimpse of how natural forces can shape each other. When ice covered most of this part of the globe, volcanoes erupted, creating the most unique lava flows which later evolved into unique geological structures and features.
