I Got a New Camera! Monday, January 09, 2006. I always liked this type of picture before I ever started dabling in photography. I really like this one. I would almost say this is one of my best shots to date.
Sandon is an abandoned silver mining town that has a very rich history. Once a city of around 10,000 people with a famous bordwalk that spanned the creek, Sandon now only has a few inhabitants and only a handful of buildings. Sunday, August 28, 2005. That little grey spot on the hill was a house.

We spent a couple of days in Revelstoke checking out some the main attractions. Namely, the Revelsoke Dam, the CPR Museum, and Mt. We hit the park at peak flower season and it was amazing. It was about 35 degrees, which caused some haze in the valleys. Sunday, August 28, 2005. Churning water after it has gone through the turbines.
Mt Robson, being the highest peak of the rockies at almost 13,000ft, is a reason itself to see this amazing area. Once here we discovered that a long but relatively easy hike takes you on a trek that gives you views like none you could imagine. Sunday, August 28, 2005. A very swift and cold Robson River. A park where you really get a glimpse of how natural forces can shape each other. When ice covered most of this part of the globe, volcanoes erupted, creating the most unique lava flows which later evolved into unique geological structures and features.
