Saturday, August 04, 2012. Saturday Sounds 26 or High School Dance. I heard this band on the radio tonight on two different stations. I remember dancing to this song at my first high school dance,which was held in the stifling, every surface layered with years of stagnant hormones, high school gym. It was 1982 and I was in ninth grade. I wonder what songs my daughter will dance to this year and will they still be played on the radio in 20 years? Links to this post.

And the time has flown by. I now realize why the Journalism Department has each student work as an intern at least once before they graduate, and why this internship has the regulations that it does.
