Taiwan Design Expo - Kaoshioung Taiwan 2005. Thursday, 1 January 2009. The Future Pavilion was part of the Taiwan Design Expo 2005 in Kaoshioung. The Future Pavilion was a ruin. Ruin is when man-made has become part of nature. The ruin of an abandoned Japanese army laundry building was divided into 4 sectors, each with invited artists and architects to deal with the themes of Urban Acupuncture, Urban Nomad, Organic Layer and Ocean. Wednesday, November 7, 2007. The Future Pavilion was realized for the Taiwan Desing Expo 2005 by an international group of architects, writers and artists curated by Marco Casagrande and Nikita Wu for the Taiwan Design Centre. The highly successfull, but controversial exhibition took place in an abandoned Japanese Army laundry and washing building in Kaoshioung, South-Taiwan.

Thursday, November 8, 2007. Kao Jyn-Hong is a Taiwanese performance artist. He has walked around Taiwan with vegetation in his back bag. Kao goes to the forest, digs of a tree, places it into his aquarium like back bag an starts walking and running. He is a monk with a tree in his robe.
