Taiwan Design Expo - Kaoshioung Taiwan 2005. Thursday, 1 January 2009. The Future Pavilion was part of the Taiwan Design Expo 2005 in Kaoshioung. The Future Pavilion was a ruin. Ruin is when man-made has become part of nature. The ruin of an abandoned Japanese army laundry building was divided into 4 sectors, each with invited artists and architects to deal with the themes of Urban Acupuncture, Urban Nomad, Organic Layer and Ocean. Treasure Hill - Taipei Taiwan 2003. Tuesday, 9 March 2010. A formally illegal settlement of urban farmers in Taipei, Taiwan. After a participatory planning action between Casagrande Laboratory, local NGOs, Treasure Hill community and Taipei City Government the area has been restored into a model community of environmentally sustainable urban living in Taiwan. C-Laboratory is a Finland based internationaly operating co-operative of architects, artists, scientists and humanists working with freely cross-disciplinary methods within the general framework of build human environment. C-LAB is focused in cross-over architecture in the search of the Third Generation City. For the Future Pavilion C-LAB produced exhibitions of previous works as well as site specific installations.
