Taiwan Design Expo - Kaoshioung Taiwan 2005. Thursday, 1 January 2009. The Future Pavilion was part of the Taiwan Design Expo 2005 in Kaoshioung. The Future Pavilion was a ruin. Ruin is when man-made has become part of nature. The ruin of an abandoned Japanese army laundry building was divided into 4 sectors, each with invited artists and architects to deal with the themes of Urban Acupuncture, Urban Nomad, Organic Layer and Ocean. C-Laboratory is a Finland based internationaly operating co-operative of architects, artists, scientists and humanists working with freely cross-disciplinary methods within the general framework of build human environment. C-LAB is focused in cross-over architecture in the search of the Third Generation City. For the Future Pavilion C-LAB produced exhibitions of previous works as well as site specific installations.

Thursday, November 8, 2007. Kao Jyn-Hong is a Taiwanese performance artist. He has walked around Taiwan with vegetation in his back bag. Kao goes to the forest, digs of a tree, places it into his aquarium like back bag an starts walking and running. He is a monk with a tree in his robe.
