Wednesday, August 15, 2012. She was so excited to finally get to go with the big kids. Everyone is ready to go. Even Emma, who also got her backpack ready. And thought she was staying with Elaina. Lining up in front of class. They sang a little goodbye. Song to the parents as they went in. Another first for us is the addition of three chickens to our backyard. Princess, Lucy, and Midnight love hanging out under our grapevines in the shade.
Sunday, March 15, 2009. Obviously, Joshua had braces put on this past week. He had to sit there with that contraption in his mouth for almost an hour while the ortho glued the brackets to his teeth. Next month, he will have 3 permanent teeth pulled and a week later the wires will go in. Look how happy he is to be done with that appointment. Actually, I think he is excited to have braces on.

Thursday, October 28, 2010. Marc spent two weeks in Norwalk, Connecticut for a business conference, and I got to join him for the last two days at his hotel. It was a fabulous break for me - lounging around the hotel room with no responsibilities other than reading and blogging. During a late afternoon break in classes, Marc took me on a brief sightseeing tour around Norwalk. Timing for the peak colors. I wish I took more pictures .

Tuesday, May 24, 2011. Danny was in a little play at school called the Three Piggy Opera. He played the big bad wolf and he did such a great job. It is so fun to see him come out of his shell and just enjoy himself. This year we took the kids to Las Vegas for spring break. We stayed at the Riviera, and had lots of fun. We took the kids to the Hoover Dam, went into different hotels, swam at our hotel and just enjoyed spending time together as a family.
