My sister Alicia made this special plate years ago for a family gift exchange. I was the lucky one to get it. Now we use it whenever it is a special day or if someone is extra special that day. I love our little tradition and I love how my little Dylan made sure it was mine all day. We made 65 lays this year. Luckily it is something the whole family can make. Cole and his best friend Riley. Thursday, March 27, 2008. I found my yarn for myself on ebay and i have purchased most of it. Its lion brand homespun and its lovely. I cant wait to get the rest! I will make mine after mickeys, so i have a while to wait. Mickey hasnt choosen his colors yet and i cant wait to make one for him. This is my third blanket. I used Dazzle Aire yarn and its so soft! I used remenants and leftovers for this one and it turned out great. Its everything she wanted and she loves it. Monday, March 3, 2008.
Friday, May 22, 2009. I am back and with a vengeance. Hoo doggie did it come out perfect! It was in the shape of Oregon and I put some of the bigger cities on it, along with rivers and highways. I made the cake, butter cream frosting and fondant from scratch and it all tasted yummy. I am soooo excited it seems that i am getting better every time I try. Wednesday, October 29, 2008.

Thursday, October 28, 2010. Marc spent two weeks in Norwalk, Connecticut for a business conference, and I got to join him for the last two days at his hotel. It was a fabulous break for me - lounging around the hotel room with no responsibilities other than reading and blogging. During a late afternoon break in classes, Marc took me on a brief sightseeing tour around Norwalk. Timing for the peak colors. I wish I took more pictures .
