Thursday, February 18, 2010. In this one I definitely do see beauty. But also a sad kind of beauty. Her face seems pained with something. The light source from the right hits her face just right and casts a beautiful shadow. I like the detail in her head scarf as well. I really like this one as well. Usually brat is a derogatory term and people are offended. But this person has put it in their licence plate. They are proud of the term. Ive wanted to shoot the faces contact sheet for some time - last year I almost got to I drew out an outline and everything, but at the eleventh hour realized I didnt have enough time or willing subjects to do so. Because of this, I was really excited when I realized I would have the opportunity to try again. Also, I came to like toning. Thursday, January 14, 2010. This assignment for me, was the hardest. It was not about taking the best pictures but pushing myself as far as I could. I wanted to get out of my comfort zone which is people. With people you can tell amazing stories, and thats how I get my best pictures. So I pushed myself to not take any people pictures. Let me back up, at first I was going to do cliches as my assignment but that utterly failed. So this is my pano from this assignment. It was up at my cabin. NO this is not .
