How About You? Once upon a time, I was a race junkie. More specifically, I was a marathon junkie. And even more specifically, I was a goal-setting, faster, longer, better running achievement junkie. Friday, February 14, 2014. Any questions? The room was silent as Capone stared down the length of the table at Jimmy, hand resting on his fork. He remained silent for what felt like hours to the men seated around the table, the clinking of cutlery from the other restaurant patrons rising up to fill awkward silence. I started doing triathlons in 2002 and have now done over a dozen including two Ironman races. Sharing my thoughts about the sport, training, and life in general is why I am here.
