We are delighted to have several new students this year, bringing the grand total for seventh grade up to 15 students. Seventh grade has become quite international this year with the students from New York, Canada, Germany, and Jarabacoa. Seventh grade is full of energy and curiosity. Tuesday, December 11, 2007. Coral Reef Study December 2007. For the 4th year in a row, the sixth grade class from Doulos Discovery School ventured to the coral reef at Playa Fronton off the Samana peninsula. Rubén Torres and his team from Reef Check International, our students learned how a coral reef is built and maintained in nature. We also learned what is destroying the reefs worldwide and how we can be advocates of this beautiful part of creation. Thank you, Reef Check! .
