Wednesday, July 4, 2012. Day Eight- Normandy and Northern France. Here I am in front of the wall of flags of Allies. Dave overlooking Omaha beach where the majority of US troops came onshore - and the majority lost their lives. Through the tree you can see the graves. so many of them! I believe around 6,000 men and women lost their lives that day and on the following few days. Very well maintained, beautiful, and peaceful setting. Almost a reverent feeling abounds. Dave wandering amongst the headstones.

Thursday, September 22, 2011. First day of School 2011. Starting 7th grade at Mesa Middle School. Starting 5th grade with Ms. Sunday, July 10, 2011. We flew to Jackson Hole, Wyoming and drove to our beautiful rental in Wilson. Also Noel and Nancy made a last minute trip up to meet us.

We stayed a few days at the Arenal Volcano, which is behind us in one of the pictures. WE went with Chris and Kris, Brian and Buffy Kraft, and our friends here from the ward Darin and Lisa Rentz. We never actually saw the top of the vocano due to those clouds, but it was pretty awesome anyways. Mi esposa y yo. OK, my Spanish is junky, but you know who we are. So there you go.CONTENT
