A diary of sorts, to document my battle with cancer and my journey back to knitting! Today is my 4 year anniversary of my brain cancer. In honor of this occasion, I am going to post something here to help Stand up to Cancer. I am happy to announce that I have decided that blogging is very therapeutic! I have been knitting and feeling better! I hope that my blogging friends from the past find me again. Sorry about the fall into the great abyss.
Knittini - A knitty therapy of sorts. An avid knitter, an eccentric woman, a rambler. I spend most of my time with my knitting, my boyfriend, my best friends or my dog. Peanut, and I gave it to her at her baby shower. It came out sooo cute. I picked up some JoJoLand superwash fingering weight. Yarn and got right to it. Very fun and quick knit, perfect pattern repeat for someone of my attention level.
Skirts, dresses for me, how odd. How 70s! Crochet is perfect to take to work, interesting enough to keep one awake, not so absorbing that you forget why your there, easy to leave and pick up and virtually silent. All I need to do is loose a stone so I dont look entirely ridiculous when theyre finished.
