Tuesday, November 27, 2012. Our last meal in Montreal was at Au Pied de Cochon. It consisted of something like a pancake, topped with ham, aged cheddar, a big slice of foie gras, and a maple syrup sauce. This one is a really fun presentation.
Stuffed Figs wrapped in Proscuitto. I ordered some figs last week and finally used them up last night. I could have just eaten these for dinner last night, but I was good and just ate one for dessert. Figs stuffed with goat cheese, wrapped in proscuitto.
Monday, September 6, 2010. A collard green start in my garden. Today, I enjoyed some almost-end-of-summer heat while planting fall crops. Sunday, August 29, 2010. Out with the watermelon; in with the broccoli. My watermelon vine yielded a grand total of one tennis-ball-sized watermelon.

Sunday, December 5, 2010. Potato Gnocchi with Lemon-Thyme Sauce. Our neighbor recently had their lemon tree trimmed, so he brought us several fresh lemons.
