Our project is focusing on the migration of African Americans from the South to the North. This study of migration will be studied with the play by Lorranine Hansberry,. A Raisin in the Sun. Students will connect the development of the play and its characters to the historical significance and events of The Great Migration. Tuesday, June 16, 2009. Describe the roles of men and women during the play.
Students will explore the life of Jewish people from the time of slavery under the Egyptian influence and the rise of freedom through Moses to present day accomplishments in America. Our project is The Diversity of Health and Health Care in Society. To compare and contrast diseases, health conditions and health care that is prevalent in adolescents and adults including cancer, obesity, etc. To discuss the importance of early detection of diseases, health conditions and health care that affects the African American community.
