Clare Hill Technology 4 Major Folio.
Tuesday, 11 February 2014. First lesson of the last year! Usual rigmarole of enrolment and wading through subject outlines. We were asked to answer the following questions, and then discussed our responses as a class. What was the best, most useful or most interesting thing you learnt at CIT last year? What did you do photographically over the summer break? National softball championships and Queensland road trip.
Thursday, 27 November 2014. For our final semester of Technology we are required to create a folio of work involving digital manipulation. When first given this task I baulked. I was afraid of Photoshop and had avoided it as much as possible up until this point. I am not the strongest in digital manipulation, and therefore have had to put many hours into learning methods from YouTube tutorials and practicing effects. My folio consists of 3 models from a medieval theme.
Monday, 21 October 2013. Wk 12 - National Library and National Archives of Australia. My presentation was due to be completed today - but a change of plans meant we were off on an adventure! On a beautiful 30 degree Canberra day we ventured out to see the exhibits at the National Library and then a short walk across to the National Archives of Australia.
Monday, 18 November 2013. At the end of the semester I have completed all required work, and as expected, ideas changed along the way. My initial corporate portrait was to be of staff at a health food store and an individual of a naturopath. I did the group shot using the Monoblocs. The below is how I set things up. The room used for shooting is very small and the walls are all white, bar one, so there was a lot of reflection.
