Economist and data scientist, currently working at Bombfell. I love data and I love code. I studied economics both for my undergrad in Germany and for my PhD at the University of Chicago. My PhD thesis investigates how disorder within schools affects later-life outcomes. I enjoy teasing causal claims out of observational data. Simple tools that make data analysis a little bit easier. I started with a tool to build predictive models from text. I use OLS too often.
