life is a journey

Life is a journey. Sunday, May 29, 2011. First there was kindergarten graduation. Moving up to real school. In my day, elementary school lasted 6 years then we were off to junior high. Today, many only go through 5th grade and then off to middle school. My oldest has now had his second graduation - goodbye, elementary school! As each name was called, the students left their seats, in an obviously rehearsed process, to shake the principals hand and receive their certificate. Hes growing so much! For G.

YES, I BELIEVE

Sunday, March 20, 2011. A friend sent me this story in an email. It is too good not to share! A successful business man was growing old and knew it was time to choose a successor to take over the business. Instead of choosing one of his Directors or his children, he decided to do something different. He called all the young executives in his company together. I will then judge the plants that you bring, and the one. I choose will be the next CEO. The variety of plants grown by the other.
